Symbolism: The 5 shell abalone pieces represent the 5 elements and the lines joining them represent how everything is intertwined, how all elements are crucial to one another.
The number 5 is also symbol of Love wich is the 6th element and most important part of life. It's creation it's the link between all of us, it's life itself.
