The Krishna Leela Fabric Tapestry is a scroll style wall art that merges three different textile arts from India. Made by a 30th generation artisan, the art of Phad painting showcases the scenes of Radha-Krishna in Vrindavan.
This fabric painting in mineral and plant colour rests on a sturdy khadi handloom. Golden unbleached jute embellishes the tapestry while pure teakwood holds in in the style of a scroll.
This limited edition, singular piece is a perfect addition to a living room or a prayer room!

ABOUT THE BRAND
Clothing that comes from the soil and returns to it. JIWYA was founded in 2022 in Nashik, India, by textile scientists Aishwarya Lahariya and Adhiraj Shinde, who left their careers in the US and travelled to more than 200 Indian cities to learn the country's heritage crafts. The name comes from the Sanskrit word jeev, a reminder to care for every life on the planet, and it shapes everything the brand makes: seven native plant fibres, twenty plant-derived colours, and no synthetic dyes, plastic or animal products.
Every piece passes through many hands. Fibres are sourced from more than 150 artisan clusters across India, then handspun, handwoven, hand-embroidered and finished in-house, with some shirts and dresses taking 100 to 200 hours of skilled work. Artisans are paid well above industry standards, offcuts become embellishments, and through Re:Jiwya every garment comes with lifetime repairs and restyling. These are timeless pieces, made to be worn for years and, one day, returned to the earth.
