Maha Alavi is a Canadian industrial designer whose practice is nomadic by nature - grounded in a sustained inquiry into how objects emerge from, respond to, and shape the environments they inhabit. Trained in philosophy and psychology, she approaches design as both intellectual and material pursuit.

Every Maha Alavi piece is hand formed and finished in a family-run foundry in Northern India - cast metal objects of seamless joinery and intuitive form.
